Tanzanian singer Zuchu has publicly accused her boyfriend, Diamond Platnumz, of allowing presenters at Wasafi FM to bully and harass her through his platform.

In a recent announcement on Instagram, Zuchu revealed her plans to sue Wasafi FM over ongoing ridicule directed at her by its presenters. The singer claimed that the hosts had mocked her, alleging that she appeared desperate for Diamond Platnumz to marry her.

Through an emotional post shared on her Instagram stories, the Sukari hitmaker expressed her frustration with what she described as persistent harassment from the radio station. She stated that the mockery had intensified, reaching a point where it was affecting her mental health and career.

“Diamond Platnumz, as the leader, what is happening online through your program Mashamsham has become a tool to hurt me, diminish my artistry, and harm my physical and mental well-being,” she wrote.

Zuchu emphasized her determination to seek justice for the emotional distress caused by the trolling. She also disclosed that despite raising her concerns directly with Diamond, they had been dismissed, leaving her with no choice but to take legal action.

As part of her response to the situation, Zuchu removed any mention of being signed under Wasafi Records from her Instagram bio, signaling a possible break from her association with the label amid the ongoing dispute.

Meanwhile, Juma Lokole, the main host of Mashamsham, defended the show’s content, stating that their discussions were based solely on trending topics and were not intended to attack Zuchu personally.

The controversy comes just weeks after Zuchu released her 13-track album Peace and Money, which has garnered significant attention for its collaborations and unique sound.
