President Ruto Directs Government Agencies to Fully Integrate with E-Citizen Platform

President William Ruto has issued a one-week ultimatum to various government agencies that are yet to comply with his directive to integrate their services and revenue collection processes into the E-Citizen platform.

Speaking on Thursday,28 November during the first anniversary of the E-Citizen Directorate at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), the President expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of compliance.

“These agencies have yet to comply with my directive that their services and payment revenues must be on the E-Citizen platform,” Ruto stated.

“They have one week to comply.”

The directive aims to streamline service delivery, enhance transparency, and centralize revenue collection through the digital platform.

Among the agencies flagged for non-compliance are institutions across various sectors, including health, water, energy, education, finance, and security. Some of the listed agencies include:

  • National Cancer Institute of Kenya
  • Kenya Nutritionists and Dietetics Institute
  • National Syndemic Control Council
  • Kenya Water Institute
  • Tana Waterworks Development Agency
  • Water Sector Trust Fund
  • Kenya Ports Authority
  • Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA)
  • Private Security Regulatory Authority
  • Nairobi International Financial Centre
  • Kenya Reinsurance Corporation
  • Consolidated Bank of Kenya
  • Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB)
  • Geothermal Development Company
  • Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation
  • Kenya Petroleum Refineries Limited
  • The Kenya Space Agency
  • Energies and petroleum regulatory authority
  • Kenya power and lightenig company
