Government Announces 64 Vacancies at Social Health Authority
The government has unveiled 64 job opportunities at the Social Health Authority (SHA), targeting experienced professionals to support the agency’s mandate in delivering universal health coverage.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, July 29, SHA invited applications for various director-level positions across key departments, including Beneficiary Management, Benefits and Claims, and Information and Communication Technology.
Additional openings include Directors in Finance and Accounts, Funds Management, Supply Chain, Claims, Registration and Compliance, Planning and Linkages, County Coordination, Provider Management, Internal Audit, Human Resources, and Customer Experience.
According to SHA, all applicants must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution. This includes presenting valid and current documents such as a Certificate of Good Conduct, a Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority, and a Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).

Candidates must also submit clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) report, a comprehensive curriculum vitae, academic and professional certificates, and a cover letter highlighting their suitability for the role.
“Applications should be submitted either online at recruitment.sha.go.ke or physically delivered to the SHA Building, 10th Floor, with the position clearly indicated on the envelope,” the notice read.
SHA emphasized that successful candidates would receive competitive remuneration in line with guidelines from the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
The application portal will remain open until August 19, 2025.
