Various government agencies have announced job openings, inviting qualified Kenyans to apply for different positions before the set deadlines.

In the Tuesday edition of MyGov, the Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) announced vacancies for the position of corporation secretary and manager of legal services.

Interested candidates were advised to visit the Authority’s website, www.cak.go.ke, for more details. The application deadline is February 25, 2025, at 5 p.m., with only shortlisted candidates set to be contacted.

Kenya Reinsurance Corporation Limited (Kenya Re) has also advertised five vacancies, including manager international business, assistant manager local business, assistant manager actuarial, senior actuarial officer, projects officer, and executive analyst.

The listed positions will be on permanent and pensionable terms. Candidates can access job requirements and application details on the Kenya Re website, www.kenyare.co.ke, under the careers section. The deadline for applications is February 17, 2025.

The Engineers Board of Kenya is seeking to recruit a Manager for Internal Audit. Candidates interested in this position have been urged to visit the Board’s website at https://ebk.go.ke/recruitment/ for more details. The application deadline is February 21, 2025, at 5 p.m., and only online submissions will be accepted.

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate has announced 15 vacancies, including positions for inspectors, a legal officer, drivers, assistant inspectors, an accounts assistant, an office assistant, an ICT officer, a planning officer, a records management officer, a human resource management officer (replacement), and a senior internal auditor (replacement).

The positions are under permanent terms of service. The Nairobi International Financial Centre has advertised several vacancies, including corporate secretary and director of legal services, corporate services director, deputy director of capital markets, deputy director of marketing and communication, deputy director of human resources and administration, and deputy director of supply chain management.

These positions will be on a five-year contract. The agency is also recruiting a principal internal auditor, a principal analyst, a senior accountant, a senior analyst, two analysts, and a driver, who will work under permanent and pensionable terms.

The National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) is recruiting for the positions of director of policy, director of corporate services, principal ICT officer, three drivers, and two customer care assistants.
