Sarah Kabu Responds to Alleged Video of Assaulting ‘Househelp’

Bonfire Adventures co-founder Sarah Kabu has dismissed the emergence of an assault video allegedly taken in her home, describing it as part of a smear campaign.

In a video shared on her Instagram account on Wednesday, December 4, Sarah addressed claims that a woman, purportedly her househelp, had accused her of assault, as shown in CCTV footage.

Sarah denied knowing the woman and alleged that the video and accusations were part of a deliberate effort to tarnish her reputation.

“I had to come home early because I was trending on X (Twitter). I understand that someone is claiming to be my househelp,” she said.

“Right now, there is a paid campaign to claim that someone is my househelp and that I assaulted her. This is a mud campaign, and I will not hide behind a keyboard. That is not my househelp.”

She further stated her intention to introduce her actual house managers on social media soon to clarify the situation and address the allegations.

The CCTV footage in question reportedly shows a woman, resembling Sarah, engaging in an altercation with the househelp near the kitchen. The individual is seen holding an object that appears to be a knife while pushing the househelp out of the house.

Moments later, Sarah’s husband, Simon Kabu, is seen intervening to prevent further escalation of the incident.

Sarah’s response comes amidst heated discussions online, with users expressing varying opinions about the video and its authenticity.
