During a livestream interview, beleaguered and impeached former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua made allegations against President William Ruto that since have remained unsubstantiated and can only be compared to a sore loser or a jilted lover.
One of the most outlandish claims was that today President Ruto is worth more than Sh 4 trillion – an amount equivalent to Kenya’s total national Fiscal Budget! Gachagua made these claims during the Obinna Show Live but couldn’t table a single piece of evidence to back these claims making him the foremost rumor mill in Kenya.
Well to break it down, the Kenya Revenue Authority collected Sh 2.1 trillion last year and Sh 4 trillion would be two years of total KRA collections!
Economists posit that that amount of money injected into the economy would cause a shock in an unprecedented fashion!
Even for those who want to lie, can get a little smarter unless he takes Kenyans a collective of “I went into an arrangement with the president without anything,” says Gachagua, who according to the Presidential Advisor Moses Kuria, arrogantly refused to get into an arrangement even after the latter begged him to enter into a coalition only with a party. This alone shows a man who when he sees power, he stops to think, and it also means his intention was to use this arrangement to achieve only one thing- selfish political interest.
Another wild allegation and not sub tainted because it reeks of pure lies is the storming and invasion of the Kenyatta Family Northlands farm where goons helped themselves with sheep and cut trees with power saws. Gachagua says it was under the direction of President Ruto yet as reported during this lawless event in broad daylight, that caused untold national embarrassment was all organized in ‘Mrima’ his backyard.
National media reported extensively how it was mooted, financed and executed under the direction of Gachagua political lieutenants from Kiambu, Muranga and Nyeri. It was reported that two MPs, a Governor and a popular musician from Kiambu put all these together with the youth mobilized from Kiambu and neigbouring Nairobi namely Ruiru, Githurai 45, Gatundu South, Kayole and Mathare most with Mungiki leanings.
The East African had reported each had been paid Sh 3,000 and given machetes and power saws after being ferried by Matatus to the Northlands Farm.
Needless to mention, President Ruto was a foreign trip busy building the image of the country and seeking life-changing economic partnerships for Kenyans.
Gachagua who in 2020 was taken to court The Assets and Recovery had failed to convince the courts how he acquired Sh 200 million with the courts ordering its recovery. He then blamed Uhuru over his tribulations and vowed to teach President Uhuru should UDA win elections.
His mayhem-causing utterances and his genocidal mouth pour vitriol with the dream to kill and maim Kenyans should he not win the 2027 elections. It is laughable even to imagine that an impeached person would dream of standing for Presidency against the Constitution and the established Law and Order.
His bloodthirsty spirit declared that in 2027, should President William Ruto win a second term he will paint the nation with blood in a fashion that will make the 2007 and 2008 post-election violence look like a Christmas Party.
Kenyans have been left traumatized with these announcements especially for those who had not healing or were in a path to healing
No wonder, a day later, Mr. Gachagua, now almost coming out as a psycho, alleges with no iota of evidence that the government had planned to poison him with a slow but sure death causing agent.
As he mentioned in the interview, Gachagua didn’t see his impeachment coming and so was ill-prepared to deal with the consequences, and this may explain his outburst that suggests he is applying the Samsonian wisdom of coming down with the entire nation.
Kenyans won’t allow this to happen for our is a peace loving nation.
