The State Department for Diaspora Affairs has announced job opportunities for Kenyan healthcare professionals to work in Jersey Island, following a new bilateral labour partnership.
In a statement issued on Saturday, June 7, the department invited qualified diploma and degree holders to apply for various pharmacy-related positions.
“Work opportunity in Jersey Island. Qualified pharmacy professionals with diplomas or degrees are welcome to submit applications,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora stated.
Available roles include Lead Pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager, Clinical Pharmacist, Lead Pharmacy Technician, and Senior Pharmacy Technician.
Applicants have until June 18, 2025, to apply through an online form. Required documents include an updated CV, a copy of the applicant’s passport biodata page or Kenyan ID, and academic and professional certificates.
The ministry noted that the Government of Kenya has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a staffing agency based in Jersey, aiming to expand structured, safe employment pathways abroad for Kenyan professionals.
To protect job seekers from exploitation, the department clarified that the Diaspora Placement Agency (DPA) is the only authorised recruiter for these positions and warned that no recruitment fees should be paid.
Jersey Island, located in northwestern Europe, is the largest of the Channel Islands between England and France.
