“I Have Been a Lonely Voice” Says President RUTO in Kindiki Inauguration

Date:

Prof Kindiki Kithure has today been sworn in as the third Deputy President after his predecessor Rigithi Gachagua was impeached by Parliament.
The colorful public ceremony was attended by leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, and excited wananchi.
“I shall be loyal and faithful to you Mr President,” said Prof Kithure who until his appointment was the CS for Interior.
Accompanied by his wife Dr Mugure Kithure the new DP pledged that he will serve all Kenyans without fear, favour or ill will.
President Ruto who just jetted back from the 17th COMESA Business meeting in Bujumbura, Burundi, displayed happiness and welcomed the new DP saying he fits the bill.
“Allow me to call you Abra K, I need your voice. I need your intellect. I have almost become a lonely voice in the executive; especially in the presidency…I am confident that you will do that which I have missed for the last two years,” said the president amidst wild cheers from enthusiastic crowds.

The Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi told the gathering that the event was a manifestation that Kenya’s democratic institutions were working.
The event was witnessed by the President of the Supreme Court Justice Martha Koome and the oaths administered by the Registrar of the Judiciary Winfridah Mokaya.
