Tanzanian socialite and entrepreneur Hamisa Mobetto has unveiled her new relationship months after her breakup with Togolese businessman Kevin Sowax.
Taking to Instagram, Hamisa introduced Burkinabe footballer Stephane Aziz Ki as her new partner, sharing affectionate photos of the two. “He is exactly the poem I wanted to write,” she captioned.
Aziz Ki, who plays for Yanga SC, also expressed his love, posting their pictures on Instagram with the caption, “Paix, Amour, bonheur,” which translates to peace, love, and happiness.
Hamisa’s new romance comes after her split from Sowax in May 2024 following a year of dating. She confirmed the breakup during an Instagram Q&A, stating, “I am very single. Yule tuliachana.” Sowax also hinted at the separation with a cryptic post, saying, “Don’t rush things. When the time is right, it will happen.”
Hamisa has previously been linked to American rapper Rick Ross. In 2021 and 2022, the two sparked dating rumors after frequent online flirtation. They were later seen together in Dubai, where Hamisa shared intimate moments with Ross, fueling speculation.
Despite initially denying a romantic relationship, Hamisa and Ross confirmed their involvement in May 2022 during a video call. She jokingly reminded Ross about her dowry, saying her mother expected cows as part of the bride price.
Now, with her new relationship in the spotlight, Hamisa appears to have moved on, embracing a fresh chapter with Aziz Ki.
Hamisa, Rick Ross relationship
Rumours were circulating in 2021 and 2022 about Hamisa Mobetto and Rick Ross being romantically linked. The two, who were both brand ambassadors for Luc Belaire champagne, often flirted with each other on social media.
The American rapper frequently commented on Hamisa’s posts, showering her with compliments and romantic emojis. After a period of online flirtation, the duo finally met in person for the first time in the U.A.E. In late November 2021, they set tongues wagging when they were seen dancing provocatively with one another at a Dubai nightclub.
Hamisa later shared intimate photos of the two of them in a hotel room in Dubai, further fueling speculations about their relationship.
Despite all the rumours, Hamisa denied being romantically involved with Rick Ross in a January 14, 2022 interview on a Kenyan TV station. She explained that they were simply close friends, stating,
“We are quite close. I wouldn’t say it is a relationship but we work together and we are like one big family. It is not a romantic relationship. I am currently focused on building my brand and making more money,” Hamisa shared.
However, in March 2022, Hamisa’s trip to the USA shortly after Rick Ross called her “my baby” on social media and she responded with how much she missed him reignited the speculation.
In May 2022, the two confirmed they were dating in a video call shared online. During the call, Hamisa asked Rick Ross to clarify their relationship status for Tanzanians who were curious, to which he replied, “Yes she is mine.”
Hamisa then joked, asking Rick Ross to pay her dowry, mentioning that her mother was demanding cows as part of the bride price.
“My mother wants cows, remember the last time you talked,” Hamisa told Rick Ross.
