The government has unveiled 56 job opportunities across several departments and institutions, inviting qualified individuals to apply for the advertised positions.

State Department for Sports

The State Department for Sports has 18 vacancies, including six positions for Senior Assistant Sports Registrars. These roles involve processing applications for the registration of sports organisations, licensing professional sports bodies and athletes, undertaking litigation, and verifying compliance of submitted information.

Other duties include conducting name searches for new registrations and maintaining records of sports organisations and bodies.

Additionally, four posts for Principal Sports Officers are open. Their responsibilities include assisting in the planning and implementation of policies to promote sports and recreation, preparing budgets and reports, coordinating bilateral agreements, and overseeing sports development programs.

For Senior Sports Officers, eight positions are available. These officers will coordinate fitness testing, develop sports talents, prepare teams for competitions, and advise on the use of sports facilities and equipment. They will also coordinate activities of sports federations, advocate for national issues like HIV/AIDS awareness and drug abuse prevention, and support vulnerable sports groups.
