Airtel Kenya Drops Bombshell Ksh 1000 Plan Offer for Customers

Date:

In a bid to enhance affordability and accessibility in Kenya’s telecommunications sector, Airtel Kenya has launched a new monthly package offering a variety of benefits at Ksh 1000. The announcement, made by Airtel Kenya’s Managing Director, Ashish Malhotra, on February 13, 2025, introduces a Ksh 1,000 per month bundle designed to give users more value for their money.

For just Ksh 1,000, Airtel subscribers will enjoy:

  1. 30GB of Data – The package includes 30GB of mobile data that does not expire, giving users flexibility without worrying about losing their unused data.
  2. 400 Free Minutes to Other Networks – Customers will get free 400 minutes to call other networks, ensuring seamless communication across different service providers.
  3. Unlimited Airtel-to-Airtel Calls – The offer includes free calls between Airtel subscribers, making it an attractive option for those who frequently communicate within the network.
  4. Zero Transaction Charges on Airtel Money – The bundle also introduces 100% ‘rudishiwa the transaction charges’, meaning customers will get full reimbursement on all Airtel Money transaction fees for:
    • Airtel Money paybill transactions
    • Bank-to-Airtel Money transfers
    • Withdrawals at Airtel Money agents

The telecommunications industry in Kenya is highly competitive, with Airtel aiming to provide affordable alternatives to rival offerings. With the growing demand for data and mobile money services, this package offers great relief to users who rely on mobile connectivity for work, social interaction, and financial transactions.
