The department also noted that night temperatures in several parts of the country will be cooler, with some areas experiencing temperatures as low as 10 degrees Celsius. “Nighttime Temperatures: Expect cooler nights, with temperatures dropping below 10°C in parts of the Central Highlands, Central Rift Valley, and South-eastern lowlands.”

However, daytime temperatures will remain warm, with areas such as the Coast experiencing temperatures of up to 30°C. “Daytime Temperatures: Warm conditions with daytime temperatures above 30°C are likely in the Coast, North-eastern, and North-western regions. Remember to stay cool and hydrated!”

This is the latest weather forecast for the upcoming week. Over the past few days, Nairobi and other regions have experienced heavy rainfall.

In its last forecast on November 5, the Kenya Meteorological Department urged residents of the Nairobi metropolitan region to prepare for light to moderate rainfall, with occasional heavy showers.

Other areas expected to receive rainfall include the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the South-eastern lowlands, the Coast, and North-eastern Kenya. This was expected during the first half of the forecast period, from November 5 to November 11.
