Harambee Stars train ahead of crucial World Cup qualifiers.

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced ticket prices and security measures for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Kenya and Gabon, set to take place at Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

The match, scheduled for 4:00 PM kick-off, will be Kenya’s first competitive home game since defeating Rwanda 2-1 in a 2022 World Cup qualifier at the same venue on November 15, 2021.

FKF CEO Harold Ndege revealed that VVIP tickets will be sold at Ksh10,000, offering fans secure parking, half-time refreshments, and exclusive networking opportunities.

Additionally, FKF will release 22,900 tickets for sale:

  • Terraces: Ksh300
  • VIP Section: Ksh1,000

Tickets will only be sold until Saturday, March 22, with sales exclusively available online via tikiti.co.ke or through the USSD code *519*55#.

“To avoid confrontations and disappointments at the gate, fans should buy tickets only from the designated platforms,” Ndege emphasized.

Fans driving to the stadium must purchase parking tickets in advance using the same online platforms. Parking within the stadium will cost Ksh300 and will be limited to ticket holders.

Ndege, however, urged fans to consider alternative parking spaces outside the stadium to ease congestion.

For crowd control and security, FKF will collaborate with the National Youth Service (NYS) and other security personnel to manage movement inside and outside the stadium.

Gates will open at 11:00 AM, with fans treated to music and entertainment ahead of kick-off.

“Our aim is to modernize ticketing and event management, aligning with global best practices as we prepare to host CHAN 2025 and AFCON 2027,” Ndege added.
