Kenya’s latest Infotrak survey has ranked Embakasi East MP Babu Owino as the top-performing Member of Parliament with a 72% approval rating, closely followed by Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro at 71%. The rankings, which evaluate the effectiveness and impact of legislators across the country, highlight key leaders who have demonstrated exceptional service delivery and constituency engagement.
According to the report, MPs Kalasinga Joseph Simiyu (Kabuchai) and Mbui Robert (Kathiani) scored 62% each, securing their spots among the leading lawmakers. Other notable names on the list include Wamuchomba Gathoni (Githunguri), Koyi John Waluke (Sirisia), and Salasya Peter Kalerwa (Mumias East), each earning a 61% performance rating.
Also making it to the top ranks were MPs Nzioka Erastus Kivasu (Mbooni) with 61%, Mwakuwona Danson (Wundanyi), Bwire John Okano (Taveta), Luyai Caleb Amisi (Saboti), and Mulu Makali Benson (Kitui Central), who all secured a 60% approval rating.
The Infotrak survey, released as part of an annual performance review, evaluates MPs based on their service delivery, legislative contributions, and overall effectiveness in addressing constituents’ needs.
