Newly elected KTDA chairman Chege Kirundi

Board of KTDA Holdings has elected Mr. Chege Kirundi as the new National Chairman. Mr. Kirundi succeeds Mr. Enos Njiru, while Mr. Eric Chepkwony continues as Vice Chairman.

Mr. Kirundi, representing Zone Three in Murang’a County, has been instrumental in driving tea reforms, including the enactment of the 2020 Tea Act. He holds an LLB degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

As an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, he is also a Notary Public, a certified Public Secretary (CPS), a Commissioner of Oaths, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIP). Additionally, he is a professional mediator.

Mr. Kirundi has served as a State Counsel in the Attorney General’s Chambers and is currently a private legal practitioner with Kirundi Company Advocates. He is a member of several prestigious institutions in Kenya, including the Law Society of Kenya, and serves as the chairman of Kiru Tea Factory Company PLC.
