Gospel singer Peter Omwaka, popularly known as Guardian Angel, and his wife, Esther Musila, are marking a double celebration—Guardian Angel’s birthday and the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary.
Celebrating the milestone on Saturday, January 4, 2025, Musila responded to her husband’s Instagram post with heartfelt words, describing him as a compassionate and remarkable partner.
“My dear husband, you have redefined the meaning of companionship. I still marvel at how effortlessly you remain awesome in our marriage. Thank you for being a constant source of joy and strength. Happy Anniversary to us, Mr. and Mrs. Omwaka. I love you, my G,” she wrote.
Guardian Angel also shared his joy on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the journey they’ve had together.
“Birthday blessings to me. Happy 5th anniversary to us. 2025 marks the beginning of our new season of love, good health, and power,” he posted.

The couple first met in 2020 and dated for about two years before tying the knot in a private ceremony on January 4, 2022, coinciding with Guardian Angel’s 33rd birthday. The intimate wedding was attended by close friends and family.
Their relationship, which has a notable age difference, initially drew attention and criticism online. However, the two have maintained a strong bond, finding happiness in their marriage despite public scrutiny.
Recently, Musila shared a glimpse of their simple lifestyle, highlighting her husband’s modest breakfast preferences. “My husband is low-maintenance on breakfast,” she noted on Instagram, showcasing their grounded and uncomplicated approach to life.
In a 2022 interview with Plug TV, the couple addressed the topic of having children, emphasizing that their love for each other is paramount.
“Mtoto hio inakuanga mambo ya Mungu. Mungu akitaka kutupatia bonus ya baraka ya mtoto hio sawa. Lakini ata kama hio haipo, hio ni bonus. Ile tuko nayo tunaenjoy,” Guardian Angel explained, stressing that their relationship’s strength does not depend on having children.
Esther echoed the sentiment, saying, “Kwa sababu ata huyu mtoto kama tupati, si ni wetu, si wa society. So sasa mtoto munataka mufanyie nini?”
