This vetting process underscores parliamentary oversight, ensuring that only qualified and competent individuals are entrusted with significant roles in government. Special sittings will be held to review the Committee’s Report, incorporating public input and approval hearing outcomes.
Citizens are urged to seize this opportunity to shape the country’s leadership by providing their feedback before the January 3 deadline.
President William Ruto’s cabinet reshuffle, announced via a Gazette notice on December 19, 2024, set the stage for these nominations.
As the process unfolds, the National Assembly reaffirms its commitment to transparency and public engagement, underscoring the electorate’s vital role in the democratic process.
