Award-winning artists Nyashinski, Watendawili, R&B sensation Xenia Manasseh and Necessary Noise are some of the musicians set to headline the upcoming Blankets and Wine event scheduled for December 22.
The event, which will take place at the Laureate Garden within Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, promises an exciting close to 2024 with an all-Kenyan lineup.
In addition to the headliners, other prominent performers on the main stage include Coster Ojwang, Wakadinali, Njerae and Idd Aziz.
The festival’s second stage, dubbed “Onja Onja,” will showcase acts such as Sir M, Euggy, DJ IV, MGM, Dylan-S X Vidza, Ally Fresh, and Karuga.
Since last year, Blankets and Wine has maintained a tradition of hosting quarterly festival editions every first Sunday of the quarter and the last Sunday before Christmas. The event has become a cornerstone of Kenya’s live music scene, combining music, food, crafts, and fashion for a vibrant and uplifting experience.
The first edition of 2024, held in April, featured performances by Nigerian artist Wurld, Eric Wainaina, a cappella group Wanavokali, rapper Fena Gitu, and Chris Kaiga.
Tickets for the December 22 event are currently on sale at KSh 4,500, with fans eagerly anticipating the grand finale of the year at the Home of Heroes.
