The Kenya Airways (KQ) Board of Directors has announced the resignation of James David Kabeberi, who served as an independent non-executive director.
In a notice issued on Wednesday, November 27, the board highlighted Kabeberi’s significant contributions, including his roles as Chairperson of the Board Audit and Risk Committee and member of key committees. He also chaired Fahari Aviation Ltd., a subsidiary of the airline.
“The Board of Directors of Kenya Airways Plc (KQ) hereby announces the resignation of Mr. James David Kabeberi as a director of the company,” the notice read.
“Kabeberi served as Chairman of the Board Audit and Risk Committee and was also a member of the Strategy and Business Development Committee as well as the Human Resources Committee,” it added.
The board expressed its appreciation for Kabeberi’s dedication and expertise, which were instrumental during his tenure.
“The Board wishes to express its deepest and most sincere gratitude to Mr. Kabeberi for his invaluable and robust contributions to the company and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors,” the statement noted.
