World leaders have taken to social media to congratulate Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on his projected victory in the November 5 elections.
Early results indicate that Trump has surpassed the 270 Electoral College votes needed to secure the presidency.
Speaking to supporters at his campaign headquarters in Florida, Trump vowed not to rest until Americans receive the future they deserve. He acknowledged the country’s current struggles, warning that without immediate action, the situation could worsen.
Trump described his projected win as an opportunity to “Make America Great Again” and expressed gratitude to the American people for electing him.

President of European Union Ursula Von der Leyen congratulates trump saying “I warmly congratulate Donald J. Trump. The EU and the US are more than just allies. President of republic of France also took social media to congratulates trump saying “Congratulations, President @realDonaldTrump. Ready to work together as we did for four years. With your convictions and mine. With respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity.”
Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky said he looks forward to an era of a strong United States of America under President Trump’s decisive leadership.
He added that they hope for continued strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States.
“I appreciate President Trump’s commitment to the “peace through strength” approach in global affairs. This is exactly the principle that can practically bring just peace in Ukraine closer. I am hopeful that we will put it into action together.”
Israel Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Trump historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America.
Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said, “Congratulations to President Donald Trump @realDonaldTrump on your election victory and comeback. I look forward to working together to further strengthen the relationship between our two countries during your term.”
